Charlotte went on vacation with her husband and children. During the long road trip, they fought all the way. Has something like this happened for you?
Well, Charlotte kept thinking as soon as they got to the cottage at the Outer Banks, a wonderful vacation would begin. Guess what? When they got there, they were all so crabby it took three days before they relaxed into a good time and enjoying each other.
LIfe is not about the destination…..
What if the family had envisioned the whole journey as the vacation?
What if they’d planned to have fun in the car, starting on day one?
Being present to what is, rather than working hard to change everyone could have inspired a surprise detour towards joy. Everyone might have realigned in happiness.
